We ended our time at Aqua Yachts in Iuka with a visit from our great friends Mike and Kate. They drove over from Memphis, and we were able to spend most of Sunday together.

We had a nice tour of Iuka and Mike’s childhood lake house, as well as Sunday Brunch at The Farm House restaurant for good southern cooking! Then back to the harbor for a little dinghy ride!

The dinghy was a little sluggish with all four of us in it, but still fun to do!

After they headed back home to Memphis, Amy and I spent some time with other Loopers enjoying a dock lounge at the harbor to watch the Bears Game! All was fun except for the Bears!

We also got to celebrate another wake crossing with Dan and Chris from Long Gone 2 while at Aqua Yachts!

We pulled out of Aqua Yachts this morning at 7:45am to light fog and rain. A perfect day to cruise!

We ran 44 miles up the Tennesse River on our way to Chattanooga by next Monday. We could get there sooner, but the river is closed near Chattanooga for a paddle event from Friday-Sunday!!!

We will spend the next two nights in Florence, AL. The marina is great, small, and friendly. Perfect for a couple days while we get a chance to see Florence.

I will update you after our time here in Florence. Our soft plans are Joe Wheeler State Park, Ingalls Harbor, Ditto Marina, Guntersville Yacht Club, Shellmound Park, then Erwin Marine in Chattanooga.
